New Age Ink Jets
I have a history of printers down during court cases when print volumes increase disportionately. I joked about it with my uncle confident that my new 18 month old printer would do the job as it had only had 8 reams through it. Wrong It packed up and I nearly lost my case. PrinterLand and the Epson ET-M3170 to the rescue. Printerland delivered promptly as they promised and after 10 minutes it worked fine with Linux and was printing a sizeable court submission. Its done the same repeatedly taking a lot of the stress out of last minute submissions and I'm really impressed with its low cost per page output quality and very positive paper handling which is where the other printer fell down. Epson back this product up with a free 3 year warranty. I think it's the best bang for the buck printer on the market and its been a huge asset to me and well worth the investment. Dean

Took a bit of time to set up but instructions were easy to follow and worth the effort to get full functionality. With various print options available including automatic booklet printing and wide choice of print quality options combined with low cost of ink this is an excellent choice for a home or small business printer.

Inks last very well
I have had a few Epson printers and this is the first I have had with well publicised Eco Tank inks. The adverts promise a lot and for the most part the printer lives up to the hype. My old inkjet had marginally better print quality but when I factor in how much I am saving in the ink costs I can live with the very slight downgrade. It comes with an awful lot of ink I am still on the ink that came with it. Everything else is as you would expect from Epson well built and well thought out. I am very pleased with the printer

Very happy
Nothing but positives with this Epson printer so far. Inks so cheap they might as well be free small compact design easy to use and Epson thrown in a 3 year warranty. The only thing that is slightly lacking is the photo print outs but when you consider this printer isn't really made for that it still does a remarkable job.

I am really happy with my purchase. The Epson Ecotank 2850 does everything I need has really low running costs thanks to the cheap refill bottles and it came with 3 years of warranty for free. There really isn't anything to improve in my opinion

I purchased the Epson ET-2850 after reading up on ink tank technology and seeing the obvious benefits of the very cheap ink. The printer also came with a 3 year warranty so I have peace of mind and a printer that will save me a lot of money compared to my last inkjet printer
